Blackwater

They told the expedition to stay out of Blackwater after dark. The diver went anyway.

No distress call was ever recovered. No official report was filed. Just whispers about something moving behind him in the reeds while the water stayed dead still around them both. 

Some believe the diver discovered Blackwater.

Others believe Blackwater was introducing him to the Mireborn.
