Nobody knows if the Mireborn hunt, protect Blackwater, or simply wait.

The stories never match. Some say it drags people beneath the surface. Others swear it watches from the reeds and disappears the second it's seen. The only thing everyone agrees on is the feeling; the sudden silence, the dead stillness in the water, and the certainty that something ancient is standing nearby. 

Blackwater doesn't create legends......

It hides them.
