They buried it outside the edge of town where the ground stayed soft and nobody walked after dark. No marker. No flowers. Just a coffin lowered into silence and a story people stopped telling out loud.
Years later, the grave still sinks deeper every winter like something underneath it is still moving. So Below feels like the part of the story nobody was supposed to dig back up.
